Sooo, nun ist schon wieder ein Monat fast vollständig vorüber und ich habe einiges zu erzählen.

WETTER:
Das Wetter hier in Kansas scheint eine Achterbahn zu sein. Mal ist es unglaublich kalt und wir haben Schnee, den nächsten Tag (oder noch selben Nachmittag) scheint die Sonne und alles ist gut. Es ist wirklich verwirrend..aber so langsam habe ich mich auch schon dran gewöhnt. Jetzt wirs so langsam zum glück nun doch etwas wärmer (in Deutschland ja auch).

ERNÄHRUNG:
Natürlich gibt es immer noch neue Essens-Erfahrungen für mich welche ich gerne mit Euch allen share.

COLD STONE = best ice cream eeever! You decide what ice cream and which topping (some sort of chocolate or sth else) and then they mix it for you, in front of your eyes. You won't be surprised: I took a salted caramel ice cream with reeses peanutbutter topping ;)

just some movie night dinner with my friends :) (pizza is always good..and chocolate, of course)

That was at applebees (mhhh their Club house sandwich is amazing!). Nana took Alyssa and I after we got our TOE NAILS done :) #girlsnight

Well, thats a WEDDING SOUP from GERMANY! I did it! I finally cooked something German. I know, it's kinda embarrassing, haha its soo late. But hey, now I'm ready to cook and bake like crazy ;D

  

My first time at CHILIS. Mexican-tex mex-restaurante. Ooooh my! It was good! 1A Salad, ladies and gentlemen!

Und erst heute, habe ich mein ersten OLD FASHION BANANA SPLIT eisbecher erlebt! HOLY GUACAMOLE! Mama hat mich schon gewarnt, sie sagte ihr bestes Eis hat sie in den Staaten gegessen, und nun muss ich leider gestehen: IT IS THE BEST! (leider no picture..I left my phone at home).

Zu Beginn der fastenzeit habe ich mir gedacht: "Warum versuchst dus nicht mal?" Und so bin ich nun seit Beginn der fastenzeit SCHOKOLADE und PEANUTBUTTER frei/clean/auf entzug. Ja..ich weis, es ist völlig verrückt, und mancheiner wird sich denken: Man, die hat hier (in Deutschland) dann doch gar keine Peanutbutter mehr, soll sies doch jetzt genießen! Und Ihr habt recht! Ich sollte es genießen und in vollen Zügen auskosten ;) Aber! Ich will mich selbst challengen (und muss gestehen, dass peanutbutter, und besonders peanutbutter und schokolade vereint, Teil meines Täglichen Essens waren), und da ich nicht als Peanut zurück kommen will, werde ich auf etwas verzichten was ich unendlich liebe!

(Sonntage sind ausgeschlossen, da darf man "sündigen". Heute ist samstag und ich habe einfach Sonntag einen Tag vorgeschoben-falls ihr euch wudnert wieso ich heute mein banana split gegessen habe ;) )

HIGHLIGHTS:

Nun habe ich ja schon ein FOOTBALL game von KSTATE gesehen. Da jetzt basketball season ist, musste ich natürlich auch ein BASKETBALL game sehen!!

Es war super cool. Da ich basketball besser verstehe, und man einfach mehr sieht, gefiel mir das Spiel sehr gut (auch wenn wildcats verloren haben).

SCHOOL:

• FORENSICS ist cool. Ich habe schon (oder erst..) an zwei Tournaments teil genommen. Ich habe ein Event: PROSE. Das ist, wenn man einen 7 minütigen Text hat und das dann "vorliest" oder mehr interpretiert. Ich habe "The boy in the striped pyjamas" gewählt und es läuft gut. Beim ersten Tourney habe ich noch ein zweites event gehabt: IDA (=interpretation duet act, or sth like that :) ). Man hat einen Partner und dann zieht man ORT, SITUATION, 2 PERSONEN und muss dann innerhalb 20 minuten eine szene erstellen. Es gibt drei Runden, und mein Partner und ich wurden immer besser. Macht wirklich spaß!
• In art waren wir letztens bei einem ART COMTEST! das war auch sehr gut. Es war interessant, Kunstwerke von anderen Schulen zu sehen. Unsere Lehrerin hat uns in Gruppen aufgeteilt (nur auserwählte konnten mit kommen) und dann mussten wir vor Ort unser Master piece herstellen. Wir mussten ein echtes master piece (etwas, das jeder kennt, wie zB. Mona Lisa) nehmen und dann eine aktuelle politische oder soziale Situation darein machen.
  Meine Gruppe hatte das Napoleon Gemälde, und dann Putin und seine Meinung against gays.

 Unsere Gruppe war leider nicht gut genug, dafür aber die andere Gruppe von Moundridge. Hier ist ihr Kunstwerk:

there is this shirt, it says: WOW! I SURVIVED A CHICAGO CAB DRIVE! ha, oh yes. It's so true. They just drive and dont care if there are people crossing the street, they just drive to get to point B as fast as possible.

I dont know if you can read that. It says: never put ketchup on your hot dog. Chicago is popular for it's hot dogs, sadly, I didn't get to try one.

Chicago was amazing! It's such a beautiful city And even if it was pretty cold (another name for chicago=the windy city), we had fun.. We had a great time, we did a lot! ..I just can't put all the pictures on here..that would take too long to upload. But hey, you got an impression of how great it was. The 12 hour drive (by train) was definately worth it. I want to come back with some more time, to see and explore more.

If you ever get the chance to visit chicago-do it. We all loved it!
